Himalayan Microfinance has given 5 percent dividend

Kathmandu.Himalayan Laghubitta Financial Sanstha Limited has proposed to distribute 5 percent dividend to the shareholders. The company is going to distribute bonus shares and cash dividends from the profits of the last financial year 2082/83.

The Board of Directors meeting held on November 13 of the company has decided to distribute 4.75 percent bonus shares and 0.25 percent cash dividend for tax purposes based on the fixed paid-up capital of 340 million 1086 thousand rupees.

In the previous financial year, the company distributed 6.65 percent bonus shares and 0.35 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. Along with this, the company has offered less dividend this year compared to the previous year.

The company's proposed dividend should be approved by Nepal Rastra Bank. If approved by the next annual general meeting of the company after the approval of the National Bank, the shareholders will receive the dividend.
